The problem that I have with learning statistics is not the lack of free resources to learn it from - it's how to apply it on actual problems.
Is there any recommended resource (free or not) that provides a walk through several real world examples and how statistics was used in each step to find a solution?
Also related to MOOCs in general - I find that if I am just watching them and not solving anything, I don't tend to remember much afterwards.
