Spoke with another KDD attendee about this talk after missing Bengio's talk on Sunday. The slides look like they really went well with the talk, but...not sure if they work well on their own.
Has anyone else looked at these? Did anyone attend? I heard it was great.
I did not attend the talk. It seems the slides are quite high-level and not necessarily explain a lot of details. I found the following to be very good(Learning architectures for AI; I read half of it):
