I would add

-FastML http://fastml.com/

-MLWave http://mlwave.com/

These first two are great for Kagglers as they often go through competition entries.

-Chris Olah's blog is quite new but has been excellent in explaining concepts http://colah.github.io/

-Mike Bostock's (creator of D3.js) blog has some brilliant visualisations. http://bost.ocks.org/mike/

My blog recommendations:

-- Bugra Akyildiz (http://www.datatau.com/user?id=bugra) has some very interesting posts on his page at http://bugra.github.io/

-- Cameron DP (the OP of this post) also has a bunch of his posts up over at his old page: http://camdp.com/blogs/

-- Edwin Chen (http://blog.echen.me/) doesn't blog as frequently these days, but his blog is a goldmine of some of my favorite data science writings. His solutions to some of the Kaggle competitions are nothing less than brilliant.

Also +1 for @soates' mentions above. MLWave is on point if you're into Kaggle competitions.
