We built a simple tool that shows the attention of topics in tech media over time.

Some interesting examples, that show how topics (and buzzwords of course) are addressed by world's leading tech media:

https://index.12k.co/topics/Big_Data,Artificial_Intelligence https://index.12k.co/topics/Predictive_Analytics,Business_In... https://index.12k.co/topics/Blockchain,Bitcoin

Have also a look at our blog post for some background informations: https://medium.com/@12KResearch/the-trend-attention-cycle-an...

For this tool we're using ElasticSearch, Python, Pandas in the backend and AnuglarJS/d3.js in the frontend.

Currently we're working also on a ML/NLP based product for business research and trend discovery.

Thanks for trying out and the hint. Yes, we recognized some tokenization problems on single and special characters. We'll solve this for our upcoming product, which has a semantic layer and taking care of context based interpretation as well.

"Neural Network" and "Neural Networks" produce different results, perhaps should have used lexemes as in PostgreSQL.

Add 'Machine Learning' to blow them all out of the water

No y-axis or information about how the data was collected/sampled....?
